MissionKid Privacy Policy

MissionKid is an app for parents to create daily tasks and rewards for their kids. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information we collect
- From parents: email, password (encrypted), or your name/email/avatar from Google if you choose to sign in with Google.
- About your child (entered by you): name, an optional PIN, and an avatar chosen from a built-in list. We do not collect real photos, addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information about your child.
- App usage data: tasks, stars/coins, badges, character outfits, special goals — all in-app play data, nothing sensitive.
2. How we use it
Your information is used to run the app (login, saving task progress) and send necessary emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it to third parties.
3. Third-party services we use
- Supabase: data storage and account authentication.
- Resend: sending confirmation/password reset emails.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
4. Security
Passwords are encrypted and every connection uses HTTPS. Each family's data is isolated through Row Level Security — only that family's parent can view its data.
5. Children
MissionKid is meant for parents to use on behalf of their children. We do not collect information directly from children — all information about a child is entered and controlled by the parent.
6. Your rights
You can view and edit your account data anytime in the Account section. You can also permanently delete your account and all related data yourself, right in the app, under Account → Delete account — or contact us if you need help.
7. Cookies
We only use cookies necessary to keep you signed in — no tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time. The latest update date is always shown at the top of this page.
